My 4 yr old grandson has neuroblastoma cancer and he and his mother (my daughter) are at St. Jude's Hospital in Memphis, TN. His father is working full time and taking care of their 3 yr old. The 3 yr old is in day care during the day (father is essential personnel so he's still working a full week). Since my daughter quit her job to be with their son at St Jude's, their finances have been very tight. We have been helping with the mortgage, and my work chipped in to pay several months of childcare, but they have been in this situation since January. They need help to pay May's childcare. It's $675.

$500 of this need has been provided!

I am a single mom to four children. We live outside of town but commute in for church. In the midst of this pandemic, an opportunity for a much better job (in Brenham) was offered to me and after over a year without a steady job or child support, I had no choice but to take this opportunity. The problem is, school is now out and my kids are at home. They’re staying with my 72 year old father. I’m trying to do school at night, maintain our household, and learn a new job. I’m overwhelmed. I need some help with childcare and the at-home crisis schooling we are doing. I also need to do whatever I can to help minimize potential exposures as I have one child with potential lung issues and am trying to stay proactive as well as caring for my elderly father.
